What Does the following MRI Scan Indicate?

My son had a mild seizure one year back, EEG and MRI was ok, so no medicine was advised, on second occassion, the attack was very mild for a few seconds, one and half month back, again EEG was taken. The report shown mild eplipsey, but MRI was negative. No further medicine taken, but now three days back, during exam, there was mild attach and tung bite. He is going through the Board Exam now a days and intense study for the same. Doctober advised him Vinlep 150 for 10 days two times, to be progressively increased to 300 mg then to 450 mg. He is 18 years and weight 75. Pls advise will it affect his studies and what precautions to be taken so that his studies are not affected.

Hello

MRI Brain suggests normal findings. In large number of epileptic patients, investigation reports like MRI,CT scan and EEG are normal.
If there is no structural abnormality then patient may only need anti-epileptic medicines.
Patient need to take anti-epileptic medicines regularly. This helps in keeping long remission.

Take Care
